Industry Award 2016 BEST OF for the Connectivity Family
"With progress to success" - m2m Germany receives BEST OF INDUSTRIEPREIS 2016
The Industry Award was presented in various categories for the 11th time. According to the motto: "With progress to success", numerous highly innovative product submissions competed with each other. In the category INTRALOGISTICS & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT, the Blue-450 from the Connectivity Family of m2m Germany was chosen as one of the best, particularly advanced industrial products 2016. This means that the product can officially bear the signet "BEST OF INDUSTRIEPREIS 2016".
The award-winning Bluetooth USB stick is the latest member of the m2m "Connectivity Family" and has a range of up to 450m. Due to its excellent link budget and an integrated Bluetooth radio as well as a micro controller and matching software stack, the USB stick is a complete Bluetooth Smart solution.
First-class HF performance for the Blue-450
With +8 dBm transmit power and a sensitivity of -98 dBm, the Blue-450 Smart guarantees first-class RF performance, with minimal power consumption and maximum range. The outstanding link budget of 106dBm - unique worldwide - predestines the Blue-450 Smart for Long Range RFID/Beacon applications. With integrated Bluetooth radio, micro-controller and software stack, the USB stick is a complete Bluetooth Smart solution. The very robust Blue-450 Smart operates in the industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and is available on a long-term basis.
Multifunctional use
Due to the compatibility with current tablets and smartphones, the application possibilities are almost limitless. The stick is suitable for home and building technology, commercial and industrial automation as well as for logistics and inventory. It can also be used in positioning systems. The Blue-450 Smart is also suitable for use in medical environments. It enables the interaction of several devices simultaneously. Up to eight devices can communicate with each other simultaneously. This is particularly interesting for medical sensors, wearables and the like.
