Assume responsibility

As probably the first and only family-owned IoT company, we are already dealing with digitization and IoT solutions in the second generation. As a classic medium-sized company, we are aware of our responsibility towards our employees, society and, of course, the environment, and we always strive to intensify our efforts in these areas. For example, we have been providing regular training since 2010 and have already given countless young people a start in their careers. In terms of sustainability, we are pleased to have been able to cover our electricity requirements entirely from our own photovoltaics since 2022, at least in the sunnier months.

Marius Nickolai describes himself as a "businessman who is enthusiastic about technology and combines practical, technical and economic thinking".

The start of this was his training as an information electronics technician. After a short stint in the job and seven months mowing lawns on playgrounds as part of his community service at the local building yard, he joined the technical sales team at m2m Germany.
There he completed his dual business studies with a specialization in SME management at the THM Gießen-Friedberg and for one semester at the Obuda University in Budapest. After graduation, he continued to work in technical sales as well as project management until he took over as managing director in 2016. Now he is responsible for sales, marketing, human resources and controlling - but also continues to look after customers and projects. When he's not working, he explores the world, dabbles in various sports, and cheers on the Frankfurt Eintracht team.

Technician through and through - that is Ralf Schoula.

His career path began in 1988 in the classic way with training as a radio and television technician and first worked as a technical employee in Frankfurt. That was not technical enough for him, so he attended a 2-year technical school in Weilburg to become a state-certified technician in electrical engineering with a focus on information electronics. After graduating in 1996, he worked for 10 years as a technical manager for a French company. He then started his own business in the field of telecommunications and joined m2m Germany in 2009 in the Business Development, Embedded Modules department. Since 2016, he has been Managing Director, overseeing customer-specific development projects as well as research projects with universities. He is also responsible for sales and as a key account for the embedded area. In addition to his job, Ralf Schoula enjoys shooting sports, was Hessian runner-up in the air rifle discipline in 2018, and is an enthusiastic cyclist and motorcyclist.

From value-added distributor to full-service provider

Initially founded as a value-added distributor in 2007, it became clear over time that many of our customers have difficulties with the topic of digitization and the use of the associated technologies. This is quite understandable when you consider that m2m Germany's customers do not necessarily have expertise in the field of RF technology or electronics development in general, but often in mechanical engineering, automotive or sensor technology. For companies that then take on a digitization project on their own, this usually means that the appropriate specialist personnel must be hired or existing personnel must be trained. This in turn can lead to projects being drawn out and delayed market launches - with the result that project costs explode.

With the expertise we have accumulated over the years, we can provide relief from cost explosion in projects. Our diverse services have evolved over the years from our experience in various projects with customers from a wide range of industries. For example, we offer design reviews to check your own PCB layout for functional suitability with little effort. In the same way we also offer e.g. the planning of LoRaWAN networks or train your personnel regarding the operation of such a LoRaWAN network. This is the reason why we are today a quite unusual team for a distributor, half of which consists of experts in the field of IoT networks and embedded IoT solutions.

This has also changed our self-image to the effect that we do not "only" want to offer our customers products from our portfolio, but also develop the best possible solution as part of our services. In doing so, we also use components from other manufacturers outside our portfolio. Only if we ourselves are convinced of this can we offer a credible solution.

This enables us to provide our customers with comprehensive support, regardless of whether the customer implements his project himself and we are available to answer individual questions or whether we take over the entire project from the very beginning.
In this way we have already saved many companies time, nerves and expensive failures.
