Cooperation with Heitland - LoRaWAN metering solutions

Heitland Logo

In the age of digitalization, metering solutions for the water industry are in demand. Against the background that operators of supply networks are increasingly obliged to digitalize their infrastructures with smart meters, it makes sense for us to cooperate with a reliable partner of water and gas utilities, Heitland GmbH & Co.KG.

"Together, we can offer smart metering solutions that are tailored to demand, because smart meters or IoT applications alternatively enable the digitalization of the network infrastructure. We bundle our respective expertise to contribute to the concrete implementation of digitalization in smart city and smart region projects," says Marius Nickolai, CEO of m2m Germany GmbH.

Gas and water meters from Heitland - LoRaWAN compatible

Since 1921, Ernst Heitland GmbH & Co. KG has been a reliable partner of water and gas utilities and offers planning reliability for all applications. As a manufacturer and product-independent sales partner of high-quality water, gas and heat meters, the company always offers the optimal solution for any metering requirement. Heitland offers an extensive product range: From diaphragm gas meters to rotary gas meters to two-stage gas pressure regulators, from classic multi-jet impeller water meters to ultrasonic water meters with integrated wMBus and LoRaWAN communication, all the needs of the utility industry are met. And that's exactly where - when it comes to LoRaWAN - the interests of both companies come together.

A cooperation with vision

m2m Germany GmbH - an established LoRaWAN full service provider, which has already accompanied numerous utilities on their way to digitalization, and Heitland, have decided to enter into a partnership with each other in order to combine professional know-how with technologies in the field of LoRaWAN and to create synergies. All customers aiming at a LoRaWAN project will be jointly supported in terms of planning, construction and commissioning, thus advancing the network expansion.

The focus is on optimizing distribution networks and billing processes, because they can be made more efficient and sustainable for utilities than before by means of digitization. Heitland already offers various wMBus /LoRaWAN-capable meters. The corresponding network components and the implementation planning will be taken over by m2m Germnay for interested customers. In addition, m2m Germany offers corresponding software solutions as an individual visualization package, depending on requirements.

Michael Nickolai, Senior Business Consultant and founder of m2m Germany emphasizes: " As a LoRaWAN Full Service Provider we cover everything - from radio network planning to the implementation of the use case. In doing so, we rely on strong partnerships. By cooperating with Heitland, we were able to win a partner that is recognized by the utility industry. Heitland offers innovative and future-proof consumption meters, which we can integrate into the IoT with the appropriate wireless infrastructure and thus contribute to digitization at utilities."

We will be happy to advise you on your digitization project.
