Heavy rainfall events and flooding are posing increasingly significant challenges for cities and municipalities. Up-to-date and reliable measurement data are crucial for responding in a timely manner in the event of an emergency.

With LoRaWAN-based monitoring solutions, water levels can be continuously measured and transmitted wirelessly even at remote or hard-to-reach measurement points. This allows critical changes to be detected early and enables those responsible to be notified in a targeted manner.

Together with VEGA Grieshaber, we will demonstrate at the Smart Country Convention how sensor technology, LoRaWAN wireless technology, municipal best practices, and data transmission work together to create a practical solution for flood protection.
