owa5X IoT gateway can now also be integrated into Software AG

The proven owa4X and owa450 telematics units have long been supported by Software AG and can be seamlessly integrated into them. In December 2023, Owasys announced that the latest generation of its IoT gateways, the owa5X, can now also be fully integrated into Software AG's solutions. The owa5X is designed to be compatible with all of Software AG's core building blocks and ensure optimized solution delivery. The core building blocks include integration and API solutions, IoT and data analytics, business transformation and secure application development. This results in extended containerization and fleet management capabilities for the use of owa5X.

The latest owa5X telematics platform is powered by an NXP iMX8MP processor and supports multiple distributions and various programming languages, packaged in an extremely robust IP67/IP6K9K housing. This makes the IoT gateway particularly suitable for use in off-highway applications such as construction and agricultural machinery and special vehicles.
