Monitoring the cold chain is a key issue in the food and pharmaceutical industry - especially in food logistics. If the cold chain is not fully maintained and documented, this can lead to major failures and entire production batches can be lost. If machines come to a standstill because containers are full or empty, this can also lead to downtime - which is particularly devastating in the food industry. With appropriate monitoring solutions, resources can be saved, processes optimized, downtimes/breakdowns avoided and costs reduced.
The special thing about LoRaWAN-based IoT solutions: They can usually be retrofitted without a great deal of effort, because digitalization is also possible without cables and construction sites.
Cold chain monitoring, fill level monitoring, room climate and more
Especially in summer, monitoring the cold chain becomes a challenge. enginko has developed a LoRaWAN sensor specifically for this application that goes far beyond the capabilities of a normal temperature sensor. The EGK-LW22CCM has been developed for all situations in which temperature and humidity need to be kept under control, from the food industry and catering to medical and pharmaceutical applications, from museum environments to safes and wine cellars.
enginko will also be presenting innovative solutions for fill level monitoring - whether silo, tank or waste container - everything is possible with LoRaWAN sensors.
