What you can expect

Connected mobility and smart infrastructure in Alpine regions

Robust and reliable communication in the mountains is crucial to ensure continuous connectivity even in remote regions - be it for public transport, tourism or critical infrastructure. The routers from NetModule routers enable seamless networking of vehicles, passenger information systems, ticket machines and operational data collection.

Another aspect that is becoming increasingly relevant in Alpine regions is the implementation of flood early warning systems. This is because weather extremes such as heavy rainfall and the associated floods and landslides are on the increase. Appropriate radio-based sensor technology, for example based on LoRaWAN, can help to continuously monitor water levels and send alarms to the responsible authorities in good time. This allows measures to be taken before significant damage is caused to residents and communities.

Telematics for alpine use

In addition, m2m Germany presents powerful telematics gateways from Owasyswhich have been specially developed for harsh conditions and off-highway applications. With the innovative telematics gateways, ski resorts can centrally control their snow groomers and cable cars, optimize operating times and reduce fuel consumption - a decisive contribution to future-proof, safe and sustainable ski resorts.

450 MHz for critical infrastructures

With Garderos as another partner at the stand, the use of 450 MHz solutions for KRITIS applications will also be addressed. This technology enables particularly secure and long-range communication, which is especially relevant for energy supply and critical infrastructures.
