m2m wins 1st place in the ITC election "Product of the Year 2017
In the past years m2m Germany has already been able to convince with its M2M solutions and this year - for the fourth time in a row - wins the reader's choice: "ITK Product of the Year" at funkschau. The conbee LoRa®/BLE Hybrid TAG - a TAG based on the LoRa® and BT-4.1 specification with integrated IoT sensor technology - was named ICT Product of the Year. The TAG was voted number 1 in its category.
With the award-winning conbee LoRa®/BLE Hybrid TAG, m2m Germany is consolidating its "wireless" competence, as it is once again a product from the company's own development department that was able to inspire the readers of funkschau.
The winning product: the L500 Hybrid TAG
The conbee LoRa®/BLE hybrid TAG comes up trumps with a range of 1m up to 20km. The configurable TAG has authentication functions and is tamper-proof. It also features 3D acceleration and motion sensors capable of detecting movement, tampering attempts and positioning.
The Hybrid TAG provides GNSS position data that can be read out via mobile phone or gateway connection. The TAG operates without a SIM card and is compatible with various application and cloud software. Depending on customer requirements, it is possible to activate various sensors in the TAG: from environmental factors such as light, temperature and humidity, to movement, acceleration, inclination and positioning (magnetometer). It is compatible with common smartphones/tablets and is read and operated via individual apps. After the first power-on, the system runs autonomously!
Monitoring, protection against theft and improper handling or misconduct are registered. Whether optimized warehouse utilization, effective inventory or medical care and security scenario, all this and more is covered by the conbee TAG. Furthermore, it is suitable for private and / or public LoRaWAN™ networks. The TAG offers ideal conditions for container management, asset scenarios, tracking, theft protection, people counting, pallet tracking, indoor & outdoor tracking.
With Conbee LoRa/BLE Hybrid TAG, we primarily address users in industry, logistics and merchandise management. Further application scenarios are conceivable.
