Together with VEGA - the innovative manufacturer of measurement technology from the Black Forest and member of the Grieshaber Group - we are launching an event of a special kind.
On 25.10.23 VEGATRUCK will open its doors in Düsseldorf Neuss.
The event is dedicated to the topic: "Sensors & IoT: The foundations for a connected future" . In the spirit of "Digital Solutions", there will be exciting workshops, presentations and a Q&A session. For one day, we will share "hands-on knowledge" together.
How can processes be controlled more efficiently in the future and operation simplified? How do I integrate the measured values into the process control system ? And how do I transmit to a smart city dashboard? To name just a few topics.

There are always new technologies, sensors and communication protocols for measuring levels and pressures - so it is sometimes difficult to choose the best measurement technology. The requirements vary greatly depending on the application scenario and it is often the application that ultimately determines the technology to be used. Various solutions will also be shown for this - and our part is where IoT and LoRaWAN come into play.
m2m Germany will give a presentation on the topic of Smart City and early flood warning systems. We will demonstrate various solutions for this. We know that digital networking is also possible without cables and construction sites. You are not convinced? Then you should definitely come by!
In the afternoon there will be a workshop from VEGA and from our side a focus seminar on the topic: LoRaWAN in practice. We will report on our experiences with the integration of VEGA sensors in Smart City projects and on the setup of a LoRaWAN infrastructure.
During our Q&A session, we will address possible stumbling blocks during implementation and let implemented facts speak for themselves.

Digital Solutions: Filling station solutions become smart!
Do you know the problem: Your mobile containers are not around at the moment and you still want to have a clear overview of the levels? Welcome to the future: VEGA presents the IIOT radar sensor series VEGAPULS Air live at VEGATRUCK. It transmits its measured values even over greater distances with low-power wireless technology - i.e. via LoRaWAN, NB-IoT or LTE-M. We'll explain exactly how it works and why this type of level technology will soon be indispensable in many smart applications.
The VEGA Inventory System is the focus of this event. The software makes replenishment intelligent: Sensors on tanks and silos can use it to report their replenishment needs to suppliers fully automatically and always on time via a web portal.
We from m2m Germany give an introduction to the LoRaWAN technology and the pitfalls in the implementation of LoRaWAN projects are highlighted. We also report on experiences with the integration of VEGA sensors in Smart City projects and the setup of a LoRaWAN infrastructure.
To this end, we will host a Q&A session with a representative of the Smart City Neu Anspach, who will talk about his experiences in implementing the Smart City concept in the Hochtaunuskreis.

Weighing 38 tons, 17 meters long and 8 meters wide when extended: these are the technical key data of VEGATRUCK. On board are numerous functional VEGA measuring instruments to touch and try out. All instruments are networked with each other, just like in an industrial plant.
